Chapbook Manuscripts - Poetry
UPDATE: All submissions are being read and will be responded to as soon as possible.
We are currently closed for chapbook manuscript submissions.
These are open to poetry, but we will also consider short stories (fiction/creative nonfiction) or art collections on a case-by-case basis.
These are free to submit. All chapbooks will be a 25-print run, with the author receiving copies and OC selling the remaining copies online and/or distributing them to bookstores.
Submission Guidelines:
All submissions should be emailed to submissions.ocmag@gmail.com
In the subject line, please include your name and the words “CHAPBOOK MANUSCRIPT”
In your email, please include a bio and the genre of your manuscript (poetry, short story)
Poetry: 12-24 poems of any length or style in one word document, with each poem beginning on its own page. Include the poem title at the top of the page, either in bold or quotations.
Fiction / Creative Nonfiction short stories: we are open to ideas, so feel free to submit.
Include a title idea, a cover idea, and an author photo with your submission.
